Planet Nomads offers an experience like no other game, and is infinitely more engaging and immersive than Empyrion. You only have to look at the screenshots page to see the creativity and imagination going on here in response to the game's unique blend of physics and open-ended environment, exploration and building mechanics. "complete garbage with nothing to do" utter nonsense. "Dead a month after release? dead on release?" utter nonsense. Empyrion imho follows the usual expected route for this *genre* and in doing so is highly predictable and offers very little that is unique. I find planet Nomads to be the better game in every way. It's a complete garbage with nothing to do. Originally posted by ChosenOne:You kidding right ? What there is to compare here ? Planet Nomad died like a month after the release (at it's prime it had like 500 players at best lol), actually this game was dead on the release. If you have a spare 30 bucks or if its on sale grab it and take a look, survival is fun but seriously lacks mid game but you should get 50 to 100 hours out of survival still in current form, I know we are loud in other threads about survival, but that doesnt take away from what survival is already in the game, which is designed well so far, you will find PNs biomes as pretty as they come.Īs for the question whats better, again its relative, to what you preffer. Its more of a mechanical game and will take you much longer to build large structures than it does in Empy, Planet Nomads boasts wheels over Empy, and they work really good in Planet Nomads, the machines you can build is quite incredible in PN with rotors and hinge joints, so if your into building machines you will seriously love it, and the electrical grid can be broken down just like a real power grid and you wire everything up. Its not dozens of planets, its one highly detailed planet, so far. I believe for most, if you like Empyrion, you will like Planet Nomads. All your questions are, well, relative ! Do you like relativity ! lolĪll EA games are buggy, thats the nature of the game in EA.
